EQUIPMENT

Because Tasmania is an island and also because golf clubs can take up a large portion of ones luggage allowance we did some investigating with regard to equipment hire on courses. When you select a course it should show you if there is equipment on site to hire OR we can include equipment hire in your package. Some courses have golf carts to hire but not all. If a cart is required we will arrange one for you.

Tasmania Golf Club is a spectacular course with panoramic water views and challenging holes. Undulating tree-lined fairways and excellent greens provide an exciting test for the serious golfer. The course is located at Barilla Bay and all facilities at Tasmania are first class. The signature hole is the 3rd, a par five.  The par three 11th is also interesting having an elevated tee to a very large green. It should be straightforward but the wind can have a big influence, making this hole extremely difficult at times

The course is reasonably flat and provides easy walking. Your game begins with three par fours before the long par three 4th hole. The 6th is worth a mention being a 150m par three with thick tea-tree vegetation to the left of the green making the hole more challenging in windy conditions.

You are assured of a warm welcome at the clubhouse at Bicheno which offers delightful views across the course and features a large deck where you may like to relax after your game.
